The Tamagochi game model has been applied successfully time and time again. One of the most successful clones of this type is the well known My Talking Tom. With time, Tom has gathered a small coterie of friends, including a lady cat called Angela. Unlike Tom, Angela seems to emulate the much desired phenotype of an attractive human female specimen. Without beating around the bush, Angela is a furry (no pun intended... seriously, this is just the way my mind works).
In My Talking Angela, you will need to take care of baby kitten Angela (or whatever name you wish to give her). Out of the few needs that Angela has, by far the most important one is sleep. Without sleep there's nothing else you can do. However, a well rested Angela is ready to play a series of mini games. The games revolve around the well known variety of Bejeweled, Puzzle Bobble and Connect. However, the animations and overall graphical quality is outstanding. I personally enjoy the balloon game, in which different colored balloons fall down in an irregular pattern, leaving you to swipe over the ones of the same color in the hopes of bursting the ones that come with a count down. Games earn you coins, which you can then spend on food and clothing.
Playing not only costs energy, but also make Angela dirty and hungry. Eating will stain her teeth. So you will often need to visit the bath room in order to brush her teeth and bathe her. Bathing is sort of funny; you get to completely cover Angela in soap bubbles and then remove them with the shower. Brushing her teeth is a more sensual matter. Having seen this clip, I can only speculate to what the designers had hoped to achieve with the teeth brushing activity, regarding the nature of the clip I referred to; To my defense, it is the only instance of a mundane activity turning into a rather sensible matter; the incestuous nature is only relevant in the story context. Pay no attention to it.
There's also a collection aspect. Every activity you do (including sleeping will increase Angela's level (and apparent age). Whenever you level up, you will receive a sticker pack. Stickers are placed in your sticker book, and when you finish a collection, you will unlock different clothing and make-up objects in the store. Duplicates can be traded online with your Facebook friends, who must also be obsessed with taking care of this furry creature.
Seriously though, the sensual nature of Angela is rather obvious. I don't know the developers haven't chosen a more innocent appearance, like they did with Tom. For this matter, I would recommend My Talking Angela to anybody but children.
